The National Swedish Television, SVT have produced programmes about Samasem that have been repeated on various occations, such as Ikon, a by now cult classic in TV broadcasting.
Samasem has also featured in many a magazine over her almost two decade career, both in print and online.
Having gathered and categorized an infinate number of steps and moves, Samasem is a natural dance anthropologist. Her knowlegde of steps used by great artists such as Suheir Zaki, Nelly Fouad & Aza Sherif is mesmerizing. Sensuous and slow, she incorporates quick, percussive steps and hip-work seamlessly into the most oozing of oriental movements.
